This is the home page for the MBARI Data Aggregation space.

Introduction

Several subgroups have been talking about data aggregation ideas at MBARI. The idea of this project is to instigated technical and requirements discussions to have a coherent strategy and move towards a one-stop-shopping center for MBARI data; not only for a portal design but also to have external data access by programatic mechanisms (e.g. web services). The discussion will center on what each subgroup is doing, fomenting subgroups collaboration and avoiding duplication of efforts.
